Capable of transmitting up to 35 hours, the AquaLink™ View Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) is one of the longest transmitting PLBs available—and it can fix your position to within 100 meters. The only PLB with a digital display, it enables you to see all of the beacon’s operational activities, including self-test results, operating instructions, usage tips, transmission bursts, remaining battery power, and LAT/LON. In addition, optional messaging subscriptions (406Link Basic and 406Link PLUS, available at 406link.com) enable enhanced self-testing with confirmation messages sent to the cell phone or email of up to five contacts.
